Appearance instruction

1. DRESS RESPECTFULLY. Come to the court at the time ordered. Check your name on the calendar on the first floor - if you can not locate where the court calendar ids posted, ask one of the COURT OFFICERS.
2. After you have found court calendar , make sure your name is listed there and go to the assigned court room. Wait in the room, IF you do not see your attorney there yet, do not worry. Your attorney will be with you before your name is called.
NOTE: If you can not find your name on the calendar, ask court officers for directions to the Clerks office. At the Clerks office, give them your name and they will direct you to your court room.
3. Please while you waiting, DO NOT CALL US WITHIN THE FIRST ONE TO TWO HOUR. This is the busiest time. In most cases while you waiting (2-3 hours) to be called, the attorneys from our office will be negotiating your case with prosecutors, judges (in many counties), ordering your interpreter, ordering court files and working on your case.
However, if you need to contact us after two hours, feel free to call us at (718) 376-47-66 (Andrew/Greg) first. Please do not call my cell (718)-376-6466 unless you are unable to reach anyone at the office.

If in very unlikely event your case is called before your attorney arrives, please say that you represented by Arthur & Associates and your attorney is not present. The court will call you in a second time to allow us time to be present with you. The call us and let us know the case was called early.
